EDIT: With that high of voltage, do you also need the super high current rating too? Isn't the main reasoning behind using an HV system to help keep current draw low? Even 100A at 56V would be over 7 horsepower! I would think 100-200A is more than enough.
You're Right. I do not want to use a fan, and the electronics will run much cooler at the load I will be operating at. Also, the potential for more added power is there. Just a safety factor. I remember back in the days when I was running 2x Schulze 40.160WK to power 2 1950 motors. It was such a good feeling of not worrying about the ESC frying...

ESC is on it's way, now how am I going to run 15S? 3x 5S cells?... I may give HK's Nano-Tech a test run with this!

I can't wait until it gets here..

Sounds like a great project to share on here. We just arrived here in Prague and will be here for the next two to three years, but eventually I was thinking about helping people out with MGM once we get settled here and I have a chance to spend some time at the MGM factory/shop so I can see whats, what. Of all the ESC's on the market MGM has had my attention for the best package overall. They seem to be a very solid controller, and the smoothness of their operation is a plus. The only issues I have seen that make them difficult has been the customer service being in the middle of Europe. Especially for you guys in the USA. So lets see if we can provide a little effort to make things more user friendly for warranty repairs and such.

The next couple of weeks I will be pretty busy getting the kids setup with school, and getting our new home setup once our personal goods show up. Then it will be time for me to do a little research and finding my way around the city so I can travel with ease. Once I find MGM I will let your guys know how things look. Good luck with your 15 S project.

SUPERMAXX YOUR LIFE.
