Not sure what you mean exactly by 'software reverse setting'?

Do you mean the reverse throttle power which you can adjust from 0-100%? If you lower the %, that will directly effect ( reduce ) the speed in reverse the motor has- I like 30% in order to avoid accidents & broken ankles...

I mean I don't want to swap the wires on the ESC for reversing the motor. I am preferring to reverse by software reverse setting. So does the software reverse setting effect the forward throttle.

I don't think so. Worst case you'll have to recalibrate the radio if it does.

I think I have found the problem; I didn't recalibrate my TX. That's the reason why the motor is slow in forward after selecting software motor reverse setting. Thanks!
