Use a rustler hinge pin :)

Super glue bits together
Drill hole up leg
Glue and press fit in pin
Cut-off rest of pin

Pretty sure that rustler hinge pin would be a tad bit long.. And where are the threads?

The bottom is similar to a blade... I can't drill directly down

drywall screws and 2 part epoxy.
drill a hole slightly smaller than the o.d. of the screw so it bites as it goes in. screw into body first, after putting 2 part epoxy in the hole.
dremel the head off the screw and sharpen a point, cut to length at same time
put 2 part epoxy into hole drilled in foot
hold body and screw foot on, before the gap is completely closed add 2 part epoxy to opposing faces
finish screwing on foot
??????????
profit?
