Here is another option if you go with a 17mm hex. Monster truck/ Truggy belted slicks.

Those monster slicks are perfect for monster speed runs. I sent ipanema an e-mail, just double checking that the Monster Slicks are indeed belted. If they are I am getting a set!

They look cool but at 139mm they are just about the size of the stock emaxx tire which would be way too high for the gearing I'm stuck with.

I may get a pair for my other Gmaxx though. Let's see what they say about being belted or not.
