What acceleration level do you have the controller set to? It makes a big difference in the initial performance. When I set my 12s at "very slow," the takeoff is indeed very slow for about the first 50 feet. Then the motor suddenly explodes with speed and can flip the pede on its lid. It's almost like the motor has a turbo or nitrous on it with that setting.

If I set it to "fast" acceleration, it is almost uncontrollable from takeoff. Even small throttle inputs can flip the pede. I haven't even tried "very fast." I find that I like the "slow" setting best for my pede. It's a good combination of control and speed.

For my MT2, though, I prefer the "fast" setting, since that truck can't wheelie as easily. I still haven't tried "very fast" for it yet either.
