The MIP's are nice for center. I use them too, with stock sliders to the wheels.

If you are planning on upgrading the cvd's to the wheels as well, you might consider buying better diffs as well, they are released by some stress because of the flex in the plasic shafts. (centers won't hurt though)

For the time being, can you limit your travel of the steering servo? (don't know what setup you're using)
