The kippster allows you to tune some slippage, which makes it much easier to drive on a tight track. The stock one holds up fine when it is cranked down. The robinson is somewhat inconsistant, but works slightly better than stock for tuning (it really can't handle the power of brushless). The Strobe is almost identical to the kippster, but uses mod1 gears. If you can get a strobe or kippster, I recommend it.
