The clutchbell has a Mod one pinion expoxied into the the standard LST2 clutchbell. It must be a 25 or 26 tooth pinion. I was hoping for a custom one peice design. But It works and has stood up to a ton of abuse so far. FD made me stock LST1 clutchbell. We have a guy over at http://lstforums.com that makes hardened pinions in anywhere from +2 sets all the way to +6 sets so I can vary the speed and performance.

Yes I got the whole package from them.

I'd love to see a picture of the inside of that clutch bell. I have been trying to fgure out a good way to convert one to a 5mm motor shaft mount. I thought about JB Welding in an adptor, but never seriuosly thought that it would be strong enough to hold up. I would really apreciate it if you could take a picture of the adaptor epoxied inside and post it for me.:dft009:

that sounds like it would work, but i would worry unless it was pressed in.....but who am i to say what will work & what wont.....heck if its working then good....

Why does the brushless LST have to use the receiver pack? Other Brushless setups don't need the receiver pack.

It depends on the system. Most run ubec. It has nothing to do with truck.

I'm at work now but I will get a nice detailed pic of the clutchbell tonight when I get home.

I am running four servos. On a 3700mah pack I'm getting about 18min run time befor it wont shift into second. With a UBEC how much run time do you think I will lose using the UBEC over a seperate receiver pack?

That is a sweet looking truck BTW

The biggest thing I like about the UBEC vs reciever pack is that the servos never slow down from the reciever pack getiing low.

You probably won't notice the difference in run time. It don't take a lot. If the
servo uses 1 amp and you have 12volts in 6volts out. It will only draw .5 amp from battery. Just for example.

very true, when i switched from a receiver pack , to a ubec, i didn't notice much of a runtime difference, but I did like the fact of how the servo's become more responsive...

and it saves weight, you don't need to bother charging the receiver pack.. :p

LST looks really good! Curious as to what turn the motor is? I'd guess 7XL.

Have you managed to get a top speed figure for it?
