eh... would like speeds around the 40s.. hmm what would happen if i got the 7700 and like undergeared it when i put the t-maxx paddle tires on it. only time ill ever put paddles on it is when i wanna climb some hills where the sand es extemely soft. main reason i even wanna do this is cause it looks cool. ill probably end up getting the 7700 and just live with the fact that i mnight not be able to put massive t-maxx paddles on it.

Paddles are ok, but you can also run mashers in sand, they work well. And really, you wouldn't want to undergear either, I've had mine undergeared and it made my system run on the warmside.

The problem is that you won't be able to gear the 7700 low enough, because the lowest gearing you can do is 12/90. With this ratio and 2s Lipo, the theoretical top speed would be ~47mph, which is too much for the motor and ESC to handle.
