i know! i was like i know when these things are heated the solder stays molten for a lil bit and BURNS!!!!! lol

and yeah, same im using, there not bad for 5 bucks LOL

haha yeah for like $5-10 not bad at all. I am sure glad I didnt whip out $100 bucks for a hakko soldering station like everyone was telling me to, this works great. I did notice after doing soldering like on battery bars you have to let the iron "recharge" in a sense being it looses heat. If this ever does break I may look for one slightly higher, if not I will just pick up another one of these. I love it. I used to have a soldering gun, but dont like those near as much compared to soldering irons, much better IMHO. I dont really see the advantage to a gun other than having a slightly cooler tip when not in use.

well except for batts, the hakko KICKS AZZ!!!!!!!!!! those things heat up to as hot as they get in 15 secs!!!! wich is more then enuff heat o solder all m wieres, and all that stuff! i will ge one wen i can fund

but for now, this was some of the best 5 bucks spent lol:018:
