The MGM has quirky reverse/brakes. If you have it set to reverse mode and you are going slowly forward and hit the brakes it goes straight to reverse. Only when its going slow though.

I have been having a quirky brake thing going on lately too. Every once in a while I'll hit the brakes and get nothing. It just keeps going. Not sure why. Its very random and very infrequent, and not related to anything that I can trace. Just a weird quirk of the esc. The other thing with it is it seems to have a very touchy low voltage cut off compared to most other ESCs.

But none of this is very serious, and yes you can "tune" alot of it out as Squee said. And the plus side is gigantic IMO. The built in BEC that can take 6s, The cooooooool running temps are 2 that really jump out as special.

It seems all currently avialble ESCs out there have one or 2 little challenges to work around. You just need to pick the one that you can work with for your application.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
