Daf,
One more Q.......... does your truggy have one of those active front diffs? If so, curious how they work out. thx again.

No. (or not yet) The active diff they released will only take the buggy reduction so far. Apparently the truggy version is in the works. I don't really see why the ringgears should not be interchangeable, but that's what they say on their forum.
That thing looks good, doesen't it? Might finally be a torque sensing diff that could hold up to some power. I'll make sure to get one for my XB8 AND the XT8 too, when they come out.

Keep in mind the XRay diffs are different than most other buggy diffs, the bearings are closer together. Not much, but still.
I bet it's the same for the active diff.
You could make it work in some "regular" bulkheads, I'm sure. With spacers or something. There has to be a way, those active diffs look very nice!

Now Daf, do I come across as the kind of guy that lets a few mm's stop me?

That's good info to have, though. Shame they can't all just pick a standard size.

Certainly not! I have seen some of your prototypes at the monsters lair

It's just that at the ringgear mesh "a few mm's" are a lot, I had to point it out while we were at it (XRay diffs are similar to Mugen diffs, btw)
