Thanks all- I will follow up on your suggestions.
I just couldn't stay away (such power is addictive), so I took it for another run in the evening last night- being REALLY careful I got a few nice runs around the yard. Too much trigger travel and WHOOMPA! the world turns upside down!
Thanks patrick, duster360, suicideneil, mkrusedc, aqwut I have learned a lot from you all. Duster_360 the power-up sequence works as I wrote, but any other change in the order give an over-voltage alarm. I guess if I had my time again might start with 4S but this is really a rush to drive, and I suspect a better radio and more circumspect driving in a bigger space would have saved some trouble....
Today I'm off work so I might try to fab up some battery trays for the A123s. Thanks!
