I am not afraid of voltage, but respectful. I know that a 12s pack is likely to short across my fingers even when dry. 55v is the threshold for conduction through dry skin.

That old McDonalds lawsuit is where all of this crap started. The old lady spilled hot coffee on herself and sued McD because it burned her. Health regulation makes them keep the coffee above 140, skin burns at 120. I'm sure she wouldn't have spilled it on herself if they had the "hot" warnings on the cup back then. Yeah right...
