All I'm saying is that I don't see any connection whatsoever. There made by Trinity. Its just that Horizon is selling them. I'm sure Tower will be too. It wouldn't make any sense to use a Trinity motor when they have there own line of brushless ESCs and motors...

Tower does sell the trinity motors, plus they will not be tha good on a brushless mt. Keep in mind the kind of setup required to put "50 mph" on the box. Most people are not going to drop the extra cash to go electric if the speed is not there. The new emaxx was a bold step for traxxas, as large electric is still a small segment. The were wise and developed a rtr that was good for wet areas, and also had potential for brushless power. Many emaxx buyers will leave it stock and play in the snow, or just outdoors in mixed terain. Traxxas provided a vehicle that can satisfy two different types of driver, which is difficult these days.

It would be nice if losi brought out a brushless mt, but I do not think that the time is right yet. Plus it would be an all new platform (if it is 10th scale, or similar in size to the emaxx) and who is to say that it will be any good. The xxx series are great race vehicles, but not as sturdy as a rustler, or as upgradeable. I love my xxx-cr, but I do not bash it like my stampedes.
