Maxamps 11,1V 8000 mAh on RCM CRT.5 extended chassis?

It will physically fit, but will really throw the balance off. I run a maxamps 3s2p 4200 11.1v lipo. It fits perfectly and only requires some spacers under the battery posts to allow the the top stap to fit. Plus I get 35-40mins runtime, and the truck balances out almost perfect. The pack is made out of 6 of the 2100 cells, so it is good for 80 amps cont. It also allows for the mm or whatever sec to be mounted behind the battery.
