The FlexTek arms...well...Flex. And with CVD's this will probably mean a lot of bent/broken CVD shafts... at least the stock shafts can both flex and compress/stretch a good deal, so they are less likely to be affected by the flex of the arm on an impact.
Not to mention, you can have about two or three full sets of spares for the price of average CVD's...
Not only that, but as mentioned, they help to absorb a bit of the drivetrain shock and such. I also find they smooth out power delivery a bit - making it less "snappish."

Yeah...but can they hold up to BL power? I am thinking of running 6S with a 1515 neu....probably a 2.5
