Pay It Forward!!!

Well...some of you know I was trying to sell my G1 single speed tranny with Strobe slipper. I posted it on ebay and within a matter of minutes a Sergeant deployed in Iraq asked me if I had a buy it now price. I guess with the G1 Gorilla kit, Strobe, 51T spur, RCM idler, Traxxas HD motor plate, and FLM tranny case....there was probably $225+ invested. It was all in VERY good shape. I gave it to him for $99 plus shipping. I also threw in an extra 51T spur (new), a 19T hardened pinion (like new), MIP center CVD, a SportBEC UBEC (like new), and Novak cooling fan (new).

He and I traded emails a few times and I figured out quickly that he really didn't know what type of gear he was going to need to use the tranny to its full potential. He wants to run the Mamba Max...that's why I threw in the UBEC and cooling fan...so with some careful gearing he can run 4S.

Anyway, this may not qualify as a true "Pay it Forward" but none the less, It felt good giving him such a great deal. I also gave him some advice about buying a better brushless motor with all the $$$ I saved him.
