My range was horrible last year. I couldn't get more than 100yards without it glitching. Mike says it was the HiTec servo that I was using. Changed it out for this year so we will see what happens. I know I could have gotten a few more mph if I could have gotten more range.

You can bind more than 2 recievers to one transmitter. I was hoping to get some time alone to work on my vehicles, but I guess I won't make it again. One day I'll be there.

There are a number of us who live near the competition, and who will be attending. Since it seems like there are going to be a bunch of RC-Monster members who will be attending, perhaps this would be a good opportunity to also have a RC-Monster bash?

Ship it in a secured box with some kind of lock to a hotel you are going to stay. Time it right so when you are at the hotel you will get your goodies or if you are not there yet, but have a reservation, ask them to hold it for you. Most events makes arrangements with near by hotels. This is how it was in Brasil when I used to go Kart racing.

The hotel idea works, but I would ship it to someone's house. Less chance for loss if you ask me.
MetalMan and I live about an hour away from Cal Speedway (about 5 minutes or so from one another).
Johnny lives close as well.
I think a Spektrum would be the best bet, as I've never had a range limit on mine unless I was running a shortened antenna (ripped off in crash). I only think on receiver would be necessary, however. I would just mount if far away from everything as possible, and get the antenna nice and high.

18.27 miles and about 20 minutes away to be exact.
Let me know if you go. I'd be happy to let you ship it to my house.

If JOHNNYMAXXIMA doesn't have enough room to fit all of your equipment, I too can accept some . This offer is extended to other forum members as well, so long as you don't send me a bomb

Lutach... I'm hoping to get a few of those 40.300WK, and LMT 3080s...
hoping to bring 1/5 and GST 7.7 there.. but with different mods... I haven't worked on the drivetrain yet... I'll be working hard next week.. I've bee sick for almost a month now... just starting to come out of it... I think the excitement of going to Cali, made me feel better.. it was either upgrade the computer, or setup and go to the speed challenge... I chose speed challenge this year... I don't want to post anything up yet.. hehee.. I don't even know if it will work....

That's cool. If my daughter goes to Florida for the summer, I might be there as well, but might not run anything. I'm waiting for a F1 vehicle, but I think it's not coming. If I had it here, I was going to work on a chassis to fit the 2 10S A123 packs I have and run 72V with the SHV controller that is coming out. Plus I haven't had much time to work on some of my vehicles.
