there is no need for the output shaft or gear, stock e-maxx works. I did this mod myself and shortened the shaft, but I would recomend drilling a hole instead. You can use a 32p spur from the new maxx or modify a MGT spur (mod1) by drilling out three peg holes to match the revo slipper, I used a 13/64 drill bit, and u need washers on the screws that hold the gear on. I also needed to team out the center hole to accept a 5x10 bearing, 9 was to small and the 10 just didn't want to go in. I must say that the mod1 is the way to go, it handles the gl power much better than 32p. Good luck!
