The hav maxx is nice to a point. I liked it when I first got it. It is a smooth motor. The hv maxx is a sensored motor. It has the wires to tell the esc what it is doing. I like the sensorless motors better. I really like the xl feigaos and such. One 7xl will out do 2 hvmaxx. You just have to upgrade the drive train. It is a lot of options. Figure out how many cells you going to run. That will put a range on what you can get or want to get. Good luck and happy rcing.
