TrueRC support - 04.07.2008, 11:30 AM

Hey all. I recently grabbed an 8000mAh 4s2p pack from TrueRC. having some balance issues with it. I sent an email to the address on the TrueRC website last friday, but have gotten no response. Has anyone needed to deal with TrueRC from a customer service standpoint ? How was the service, and how did you get in touch ?

J.

True RC service - 04.07.2008, 12:28 PM

my expierence with True RC is I ordered a 4s 5000 pack that was a return and I had to call him to order, I did this on a Monday and I asked when I would recieve it and I was told by Saturday, I didnt like giving somebody I dont know my CC # over the phone but I paid $90 for it, so I gambled, now its the following Monday and still no pack, so I called again and he told me he was busy with a trade show in Chicago. To say I have a problem with patience would be a understatement ( I am the stereotypical type A personality), it took a huge amount of reserve on my part to be cool about that, I am used to quick service....I have a feeling its a guy working from his basement but you can get some great deals from him

I called him this morning. He admitted he's pretty behind because of the Toledo show. It is a small business, but you can't beat his prices for the quality.

Give the guy a break, he's not going to rip you off. He's a good guy from all accounts I have heard.

As for the type A personality.... I have no sympathy there. So I think you know this is about you and your patience or lack thereof

I'm not bashing or complaining, please don't get me wrong. Just wondered if anyone had needed to return something to him, or have anything fixed.

The battery seems to perform well, but I've taken it very easy on the pack. I only ran it two cycles in my revo, only down to about 15v each time. When i plugged into the balancer I noticed one cell reading lower than the other 3. I have charged/discharged on a triton 3 times now, with the same results each time. After discharge, I'll show 3.3 on 3 of the cells, and 2.9 on the other.

for 1 thing you DON'T know if somebody might rip you off or not, I have a few friends who have been victims of credit fraud, and its up to you to prove you are innocent, it can rally turn your life upside down. As far as my personality I wasnt asking for your sympathy.

I LOVE YOU GUYS MANNNN!!!!

lol, really. I'm not bashing or anything. I appreciate the phone number provided above. I also appreciate that TrueRC is a small one-man operation, and that's most of the reason he can give us good deals on great products. I'm just having a slight problem, and would like to talk with him. My emails went unanswered. I'll try giving a call this evening to see what advice there is to be had.

Dan at TrueRC is a good honest guy. he is small and doesnt have much if any help, but he does do his best to keep everyone happy. His place is only around 6 miles from where I live and I have met him many times. You have no worries with Dan. He will get you your product and if there is any issue he will always find a way to make things right.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
