What to do for a savage motor mount?

Ok, made an esc mount, cleaned up the wiring, and took it for another test run. Plenty of power, and it will wheely all the way thru 2nd gear. The great planes esc is very controllable, and even starts up very well. If full throttle is pulled from a standstill the motor starts, slowly for a second and then full throttle. It does not do this when the truck is moving, throttle control is immediate when the truck is rolling. Motor got a bit hot for my tastes, but I do have a spare rcm heasink clamp, so I will give that a try. batteries and esc did not get much more than warm.
