The slipper may determine the pitch. I use a strobe with mod 1 gears. Someone else will have to answer about a good ratio for that motor.

What other mods have you done? You'll need some drive train upgrades if you have not done them already. Shafts, diffs, idler gear and input shaft roll pins are known weak spots.
