Sorry missed this - Mike supplied a bottom space - This was mounted from the bottom with some countersunk m3 screws using the exisiting holes.

In addition I added 2 countersunk screws from the top - having first drilled and tapped them. It is difficult without a tap into 7075.

Then I mounted the tray into the spacer using 4mm countersunk screws. I also used just the middle guard mount into the battery tray. More to secure the guard than the tray.

Lastly I use 3 straps - Mike 2 plus one end to end... I also use velcro in the bottom of the tray...
