heres a laugh

RCU NOOB-im doing about 84,000 rpms with temps at 270f esc gets real hot tho. but never solder melting off the board so i think im ok. i watch my temps close i no im not susposed to but its fun, if i ever have probs i can gear down upto 5 teeth on my pinion and a bunch on my spur also it rips im happy it runs good that dune set-up is wild

Brushlessboy16-
That proves that your lying... NO motor can handle 84,000rpm.. it just doesnt happen!

even Neu's only are rated to 60k,

not only would your bearings self destruct but the rotor isnt balanced to that high of an rpm

If its getting that hot it would de-magnetize the rotor and render it useless.

well whats 7700 times 11.1? 3s lipo? It runs very very fast, i run my 2s most of the time but for being faster sakes i can drop a 3s cant i?

Brushlessboy16-
yeah not taking into consideration driveline drag, wind resistance, and the Loaded KV value of the motor.... still ur not turning any where near 80k

Mind you at this point about 4 other people joind in trying to prove this guy wrong... Myself, Takedown, and Trev8913....

he pm's me saying that someone on THE TRAXXAS FORUMS said it would be fine and could run 3s all day..

Just annoys the crap out of me when people soak up wrong info
