It's funny that you mention that because tow weeks ago I was racing with my 60mm 1300 with unknown ESC settings in my 8ight truggy. It ran great and cool all day and I won the sportsman A-main. When I checked the settings later that week my motor timing was set to 10, punch 30%, and everything else to the lowest. I changed the timing back to zero and went to practice at the same track. I was seeing temps on avgerage about 5-15 degrees hotter than before, but driving it felt the same. It was a different day and I can't say if the ambient temps were the same but it made me think, is a little timing ok? It definitely did not hurt my runtime. I was running a Hyperion 6s 4250 18c pack, it was a 12min main, no warm up laps, just drove over the loop to register and then sat by the grid. After the race I charged my pack and put 2390mah back in. I think I'll put it back to 10 and see what it does tomorrow, another race, same track.
