That's a nice looking rig. Makes the 5B look more like 1/4 scale.

I was going to say I like those tires. I got a 5B last week. I haven't run it yet, just finished painting the body last night. I just have to trim the body up a bit better with the dremel as the factory cutting isn't the best. I see a future brushless conversion.

I want one of those soooooo bad, but have absolutely no place to run one, it would get me in a pile of trouble.

Those are awesome to start with and what folks are doing with them is just short of incredible!!

I won mine in a raffle . I think I am going to have the same problem with finding places to drive it but I know a few places that I think I can get away with driving it.

Damn you're luck MTBiker...

And those 5B's are awesome! I have a perfect spot to run them at near me, but no $$ to get one... Actually at that spot, every Sunday all the 5B owners around me meet there, and I just have to drool over how cool those buggies are...

Wow, I'd call that darn lucky!!!

I have a big city park behind my house and I've been warned more than once by either sherrif's deputy, constable, spring branch deputy and Houston PD about noise when I have been running nitros - as in "you need to stop the noise and leave NOW". Tmaxx for crying out loud!! With my electrics so far, keeping a low profile (as soon as kids start to show up, I pack it in and leave), its been cool.

With a 5B in the park, I'd be under the jail in no time!!

Enjoy the 5B, but find a spot you know is cool - it sux to have to look over your shoulder for trouble!

I ran mine with an unsilenced Jetpro Pipe at an outdoor nitro track and people got pissed off.

It is a fun buggy, but I think I will sell it.

^ I'll give you five bucks!

I've got power lines behind my house that would be a perfect place to run one of those.

It was very lucky. I definitely didn't have the dollars to buy one either but I could afford the raffle ticket. I think I am going to try running it near where we run our nitros but a bit further away from the buildings. There are some big paddocks I know of but will be developed eventually but in the meantime they will be a baja play ground.

You can always have both . I just bought a 1/8th buggy and anther mini and then I won the baja. It's stretching the upgrades fund a bit thin. I wonder how my S8BX is going. Mike has it at the moment.

It has been raining here for nearly 1 week now. Looking at getting a mini to have some fun in the house on days like this.
