The only problem you will find with gearing is room. With the 2.5D F (finned) I had to dremmel a couple fins off the motor to clear the chassis brace. To get a lower gearing you should invest in a larger spur, like a 46 (I am using the stock 44 with a 16 like stock gearing). you could also drill a new hole in the chassis and mount the brace on the other side of the cvd
