Ok, 3.051 just won't let you update the firmware but I'm sure that does'nt need to be done anyway yet.

IIRC there was someone who spoke to CC that the V2 have a newer firmware that they havent released yet on the CC link. So you're right not needed now :)

3.051 and 3.10 work fine with V2, Im using 3.10 on XP and Vista, its same as 3.051 think its only different for a plane or boat, just window pops up, "cannot update firmware on this controller" which castle said was MMMv2 has higher firmware then 3.10 for the fan and will be on next firmware update

I still haven't received an e-mail saying that my MMMv2 has been shipped.
The sidewinder and 4600 that I ordered months ago from a retailer and was supposedly shipped over a month ago by express post still hasn't turned up either .
I can't stand all this waiting but while I am having a whinge I would also like to abuse summer for taking so bloody long to get here. I can't drive my cars in the dark you know .

I'm hoping to receive mine next week since it takes 6-9 days for packages to egt to Japan through the military postal system. I received the email and tracking number yesterday though Joe Ford told me about this last Thursday. CC is also sending some banners we can put up on our home-made track inside the military base.

You want summer to get here? where in oz are you? I hate running my electrics in our 40C summers, much prefer the 10C of winter - just seems like the cool is nicer on the electronics :P
And I think theres something whacky going on with the post, I'm suddenly receiving a bunch of parcels I was worried about and have been waiting over a month for. If you have express dont you get a tracking number?

You would think so BUT THEY NEVER GAVE IT TO ME. Personally I don't think they have sent it yet or at least didn't send it when they said they did. I have dealt with the retailer multiple times before and I have no doubt I will get the sidewinder it just takes time.
It's freezing here. I'm in the ACT and it's way too cold. Summer isn't a problem for me I love the heat but keeping the electrics cool when the tar they are running on is +50c (122f) is a bit of a challenge. You chew up tires really quick on hot tar too. My main complaint about winter is that it is dark by the time I get home. I have been getting up earlier in the morning so I can take the dog for a walk in the morning when there is some daylight. I also work in an office with no natural light so daylight is precious. Plus riding to and from work in the cold and dark isn't as much fun as it sounds either.

I put an hour of total track time on my v2 today with 5S in a buggy & it ran perfect but the fan did stop (I think). I have not checked it out yet.
