does higher gearing increase rpm or just the voltage?

you "can" just dont expect your motor to last long... you just need a better motor

you can
A. Sell your current motor and get a better one-then gear up
B. Gear up current one, de-mag it, then have to buy a new motor and get absolutely nothing for the other.. more money in the long run
