Is there away just by rubbing it off? Rather than using any strong liquids.

I could imagine a cloth damped with meths should do it safely? Possibly wire wool too, just to get the bulk of it away.

Nick,
What we were talking about with scotchbrite doesn't involve any liquids or chemicals at all; just a power drill and a scotchbrite pad. I used one that you might have around your house already. It's the plastic scrubbing side of a household sponge.

Put the shaft of the motor in the drill, spin it, hold the scotchbrite pad lightly against the can and wait for it to do it's work.

Here's what the sponge/scotchbrite pad may look like:

What about steel wool, or a metal scouring pad, would that take it off even faster?

Well seeing he can hold the Maxx almost horizontal, while his tyres balloon triple their size, that deserves some credit. ;)

As the sponge thing, yeh I guess I can do that now! Although wouldn't it leave a few scratches/scrapes? Can't imagine a smooth finish...

It even was a Savage, Nick! I think when he would have released the grip, the truck would probably have flipped twice before landing on the floor.

Yeah, no worries, Serum, we keep it on the down-low. I will just bust it out when you have been a bad boy! Promise.
