Best motor on 16 cells?

Welcome to the forums, E-maxx kid. For the receiver pack, you got it-just remove the black jumper from the controller and plug the rx pack into the receiver.
As for the ideal motor, well, there will always be opinions that vary here. The Lehner basic xl motors are good for a light truck, the 10L is great for most trucks and the 7xl is also an excellent choice. I think the 10L and 7xl would be the better choices, in combination with the heatsink/clamp.
