Running metal gears isn't so bad now that we have good pinions for $10-15

Not long ago, it's was very costly to run metal-metal. I've run plastic for several years now.... racing and bashing... works for me and it's quiet.
My problem was the motor loosening up, on my Hyper 8 at least. In my Savage, with perfect mesh, I was MELTING Kyosho spurs. Like stripping, but there was never any stripping.

And for now at least, Mike is out of Kyosho spurs.
