Here's another one fromBrianG:

Or just plug it directly into your rx's battery port.

DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE AN OPTO ESC - YOU WILL BREAK SOMETHING.

This setup is very specific to where you want to power the esc from the rx battery as the internal ESC BEC has been removed or does not exist!

This is very unusual - normally the internal ESC's bec is still left to power the brain board and the red wire on the ESC lead must be removed!

Which ESC are you using - Brian's script is the best tool to look at.

Bustitup, what ESC are you trying to use this for?

well the only esc I have used so far is the mm with bec I have my new mmm but havnt wired it in yet...I have been reading and it seems that you can eliminate a internal and external bec by just using a battery pack eliminating the problems with bec's especially the mmm

did I assume the wrong info here

Mixed results - Consensus is that it can't hurt but might not help... Go with the remove the red wire diagram for the MMM...

Exactly! This is a special diagram made specifically for the MMM BEC removal mod. Using a BEC and a receiver pack at the same time could cause issues.

Simple Rx pack will do. I've been using them for a long time now and trouble free. I would use a lipo Rx pack if your electronics can handle and needs that much power to work at its full potential. I would still go for a good nixx Rx pack.
