Nice thing about 18th is you could build some nice little crawling areas right in the living room. (my wife would love that ) Looks like a fun little truck to have for a rainy day.

I wonder if the bottom tranny gear will fit in the MLST? would fix a weak spot in the drivetrain

I think the dtx/anderson crawler will be much better. two 380 motors vs one 370.... the motors are located at the axles vs mounted high on the chassis.... and knowing the quality of losi's rtr's... the dtx crawler will get my money.... if I ever get into crawling that is.

HA! The only thing I'm looking forward to from the Losi crawler are the 1.9 rock claws tires. Perfect for my scaler!

I'm more likely to pick up a Duratrax kit without electronics.

If the price was around the $179.99 mark I would be getting one but for $239.99, you could get a Traxxas VXL Vehicle and most other 1/10 RTR vehicles. Having the Spektrum radio doesn't help with the price but the radio gear is useless to me. Not a fan of Duratrax Kits but it seems like a better buy, might do with it

I wouldn't mind seeing an even smaller 1/36th scale version.

Than you could crawl around your living room across your kids blocks. It would be a fun way to relax.

I picked up a Losi Mini-Crawler last night and it is ... AWESOME! I couldn't be more impressed with it right out of the box!

The included stock battery lasts over an hour. It crawls amazingly well for being box-stock. All I've done so far is put Dean's on it.

Here's a quick EagleTree in which I flogged it as hard as I could to see how many amps it would pull under stress:



Not bad, eh? It allows for use of Blade CX2 packs and the like.

Improvements:
-It rides high, so I'll probably limit the shocks.
-I'll put the battery on the front servo.
-I might put a tad bit of weight in the front wheels.

Seriously, I've had several crawlers and this one might be my favorite already.

Great to hear that its doing well for you! Does it have rear wheel steering? It appears to have a servo mount, but does it come with the 2nd servo as well? How does it do on the rocks? Decent articulation?

It does not come with rear-steer or a servo for it, but it does have the servo mount ready for a future upgrade. It comes with rear lock-outs, but the axle is built for rear-steer. I'm sure they'll have a kit soon enough for it.

It does really well on the rocks. The articulation is actually a bit too much, so I'll probably limit that a bit with the internal shock limiters.

I'll likely do a video this weekend if I can find time. Yeeeee-ah.
