A friend of me own an FG, and for the price, the FG not worth the $$$. The HPI is as solid and reliable than the FG, and the parts is alot easy to find at a better price.
Not to bash your opinion bu Ive seen both the 5b drive and the marder and the marder outpreformed the 5b in every catagory including durability and handling. The FG st is also one great truck with a scale stance. In my opinion with the stubby wheelbase it would be more fun/challenging to drive.
were the fg and 5b in good condition did they put hop ups on it if so what for i say............................................... .................................................. ......................................i will kill the first one who comes in vicinitiny of me with the 5T then take it and convert it to bl then i will enslave all 2wd rc cars muah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.............................. ....................................oh yeah infinite ha JK
"Its a bird."Its a plane.""It is my E-Revo and bl 5T you idiots."
Yep! and next winter, this is my project, convert my 5B into 5T. It's just the side mud guard, front bumper, wheel tires and body to change.
And i'll paint a killer body
Im thinking of ordering the body for my mcd MT since Im looking to convert it from a monster truck into a 4wd stadium type with smaller and better looking tires/rims. The rims/tires & and 5t body should cost around $300 when finished.

Ya its going to be a bit more than buying a new body tires & rims for a 1/8 or 1/10 thats for sure. Im hoping that HPI doesnt kill the consumers with a $100+ 5t body. If thats the case Im going to spend the extra $50 for the MCD baja 1000 body and some scale rims/tires.
well looks like ill have a new toy. i told myself that when they make a baja truck i would buy one so its about time. only that 26 cc isnt going to cut it. might just have to shoehorn a quickdraw 35 in there. 8 hp at 18k rpm sounds like fun. 35 cc motor...http://www.quickdrawengines.com/sample_41Y/Page_9x.html
