lost 5 mph from switching esc

I just changed back to the Quark and pulled 51 mph. No throttle channel reversed,all connectors are 5.5mm to motor and Deans to esc and batterys.I checked all of them and they feel firm.I have 1 2700uf 25v cap on my MM and 2 on the Quark.I know that I set the settings on the Quark for high power lipo.The power difference is pretty big.I now wonder, again,are the wires on the MM to small.The Quark has 12g and the mm 13g,small difference but in something thats trying to get all it can,the little things count.
