Sneaky Pete, Bust the fan connector off the bottom & cut the fan grill out & let that Monster fly. If it dies, send it in. If you don't run it now, how can you brake it & send it in to get your V3? We were looking for ya at the track this weekend.

Well, in case you all got the wrong impression that I'm patient (and therefore waited patiently this weekend while everyone else was racing), I couldn't wait any longer to get an update. So I called Castle again today.

Tech support conveyed to me this afternoon when I called them that the updated firmware should be released either later tonight or tomorrow morning assuming there aren't any last minute problems with the software. I also asked them about the release of the replacement/new units and production is scheduled to start by the end of the week.

I'm pretty sure he's done with updates. They are workin on it. Everytime Patrick has updated in the past, it opens a world of follow up questions...and people ridicule Castle for delays. Hopefully we will all get them home soon.

I agree with hoov. I've noticed that too. Even a single post to say hi and everyone has a question. Even if he posts they are ready it will just open up even more questions. I can only thank Castle for my MM to hold me over until I get my MMM back. Making the hobby fun and affordable is what its all about for me. Throw in a couple of cool features and I'm sold.

Just got this from CC:

We will be sending out another update today or tomorrow that should have a tentative time-schedule for shipping. Have a great day!

Well, according to Castle's Tech Support, it doesn't look like the firmware update is going to be released this week. A few small issues popped up that they are working on fixing. He also said that it shouldn't be much longer. Sorry to get everyone's hopes up earlier, but I was merely passing on the info that they had given me over the phone.
