Quick background / painting the picture for you:
I'm building this town to destroy for the Battle truck movie and could really use some suggestions from the team..


Do I build individual houses or streets / blocks ?? (ie) general store, brothel house, barber shop, ect. of course they will have have doors, windows and will be painted.. OOohhhh do i use light or dark color paint (??)







I’ve got 14 building that need to be named as well. Got any suggestions ??

wow, thats a lot of effort going into some thing thats going to be destroyed.

i would think light coloured paint so you can see the damage better.

building names ehh? barber shop, town hall, church, doll shop, what sort of town is it supposed to be? medieval, modern, british, what?

Nice Trailer. You looking for a High Plains Drifter effect with the town or something newer like the National Lampoons Animial House screams mixed with humor? Your battle tank is similiar to that one they made in AH. Painting everything red would make it easier.

My truck will kick your truck's ass. Then turn around, kick it again, drive away, and then for good measure, kick it a third time. Then it'll drive away and use my flamethrower on you! Lol. I'm not sure it'll do all that but i sure hope so!

LOL.LOL I bet you never would have ever thought your XT8 would be used like this..

It still handles pretty good for all the weight.. I cant find any springs stiffer than the purple, I think I will need figure out how to run dual springs ??? any thoughts??

The movie should be cool.. It’s costing me a small fortune..

Light color (got it)

I'm still trying to figure out what type of town it will be or city or neighborhood. I'm just kind of building it with no plan, just going as the booze takes me (you know).. I'm thinking some kind of client eastwood old gunfighter town.. I'm thinking of Dead man’s gulch for a western setting, Springfield for a small town setting. I don’t know still side open for suggestions..

GEE what up Sir.. I like the Animal House look, I cant get to serous is will look dorky but keeping humor in it works.. Thanks for the idea.. Yha painted red would make it easier (for sure) but I’ll just get good and hamered one Friday night and paint it up / hope for the best.. LOLOL..

Well the whole video / movie now is @ 8:00 minutes and I need two songs two cover it all So I really apreshate the advise. I was looking into Metallica, doors, etc, but a another ACDC song would be cool too..

BRING IT LITTLE MAN.. LOL.LOL.LOL….

Sorry.. Yes sure anytime anyplace.. But if you get to use your flame thrower than I'm using steel ball bearings and get to crank up my PSI to 410… IE should be able to blow holes in your build + the rear net to tangle you but in.. PLEASE..LOL.LOL.LOL

I do wish you the best of luck in your build BL-R.. it sound like a great project and I'm enjoying the updates..

Well the town continues forward at good speed and can still go anyway (western, city, or suborn neighborhood)

Here are picks of the process for 4 builds (they are all trimmed out and primed up!).. Tomorrow I’m off to the hobby shop for more wood so I can complete another 4 buildings.
