What gearing are you running currently (that may have an effect on start-up cogging), and make certain the driveline is free and smooth.

Assuming all your solder joints are fine, leave out the eagletree and try running the batts directly to the esc, and see if that makes a difference. Im none too familiar with that esc, but you may have to tweak the settings on the radio and the programming options for start power to reduce the cogging effect. Good luck.
