Tekno RC V3 BL Conv. Chassis lengths? - 10.11.2008, 05:59 AM

is the v3 chassis for the Losi truggy longer than the v3 chassis for the 8? i am ordering some batteries for a new conversion kit for the Losi 8T that i ordered and wonder how long i can go. i have the 8B conversion kit now and the longest battery you can go in that is about 6 1/4". is it the same for the truggy or can the battery be slightly longer?

The truggy chassis is longer, but the battery tray is the same(can fit longer packs fairly easily). :)

yeah, i had to cut out one end of the battery tray to fit the battery on my buggy but the tray sits toward the back of the chassis so beyond 6 1/4" the battery starts to hit the rear hinge pin. i just want to know if the tray sits forward more on the truggy chassis. or is the extra length on the truggy chassis on the back end? from the back of the battery tray to the hinge pin how much room is there? is there more than 1/2"? thats all i need to know. Tekno is closed today so i cant call them.
