Clutch shoes were on properly... it was setup correctly, and I ran them w/ the spring off even as suggested by the guys at tekno. It is really hard to describe how much more responsive it was w/ the pinion, it worked with the clutch until it snapped and felt ok.. just not anywhere near as impressive. I'm hoping that tekno will replace the defective "elektri-clutch adapter" as it was obviously inferior in quality to snap after such little use. When I get it back it will be a spare for my buggy conversion, there is no way I'm switching back in the truggy.
