R1Pro Cogging?

I bought it used. He was using it with a 2S setup so it had the small cap on it. Replaced it with the big ones from Mike's store. Didn't buy Hotwire, but it looks like I should get it. I was still reading the instructions but I thought it was plug-n-play. I'm going to the gym here shortly and afterwards I'll pickup some AA batts on the way home to replace the ones I was using before.

I will check the connections. I'll also snap some pics and post them here. I already swapped out the burnt connectors and direct soldered the BEC to the R1Pro. It's just a temp setup so everything is zip tied and not in it's permanent home with the exception of the Rx.
