well one of my batteries is acting really stupid. so im forced to discharge both packs and get them equal again. i think 1 volt per cell should do it. fan just kicked on on the charger. it reached 150 inside so i might stop it and change some settings on it. but only one pack is giving me trouble and it was the one used on the bec side of the evx.

and i will give my thoughts on the motor as well so dont worry about that!

well the motor did good through a set of packs. Didn't go higher then I'm guessing 80 degrees. It's like 50 right now so maybe that's why. I was doing all sorts of shananigins. Like donuts in cement grass some gravel. Won't wheely though and it cogs a bit but.i need to mess with my settings. It isn't performing up to it's potential because the batteries. I think with 5s this setup would be insane.

Well I'm off to tinker with it some more and charge me batts up.

But on another note has any used the lipo's I linked in the first page?

well the cogging is because of my batteries. they are not up to snuff. and to add to the list one of my batteries vented a cell so now i only have a 13 cell pack. i guess there was a bad cell in there. all i know is that SPC nimh packs cant handle the amount of power this motor needs. im thinking once i get my lipo it will probally wheelie till tomorrow and have better top speed and also get rid of the cogging. but for now i will enjoy my 13 cell powered truck.

im now off to heal my burnt hand and reconfigure my pack lol but this truck is insane! so much torque! i think with the 65t spur it will be too fast lol

LOL I know they were meant for smaller motors like the mamba max one. But I lost 2 cells so only running 12 cells and the packs stay super cool. Those two cells were defective so I can still have fun!! Tomorrow I have the whole morning to run it LOL.

well those spc packs are on there way out! they cant keep up with the demands the motor needs. i fully charged them and they were super slow. my five cell nimh pack was faster then the 12 cells put together! but i then got it stuck and since they are going out i just smashed the throttle and it slowly started to spin like if it was low on charge. tehn as it kept spinning it picked up to were it was shredding the ground! so something is wrong with the packs, mainly the 7cell one. for now ill keep running it like that until something gives out if anotehr cell blows (and i think it will) i will just use them as starter box batts for my mini inferno. so im going to probally get myself one lipo by christmas time.

im going to have to return my MP3 player i bought. good thing i havnt opened it that way it will be easier to return it lol.

anyone care to reccomend some lipos? 4s-5s would be good with about 100amp constant or there about.

www.hobbycity.com

Anything blue with zippy in the name will kick ass bigtime- I suggest the 20-30c 5000mah packs in your prefered voltage, they are great performers and bargain priced. Other option would be Mike's new unbadged lipos- getting great reviews and they too are very well priced (find them in the rcm store under batteries/lipos).
