Strange..

New 1:1 small city car in the UK = $10-20,000.

Wheel chair powered by a couple glorified windscrean wiper drive units = $15,000.

Something is very wrong with a world that preys on the vunerable who have no choice but to pay up or be confined to their homes.

The electronics side of things seems simple enough- couple of big outrunners+ BL escs and and servo controller unit with channel mixing abilites for tank steering; I've seen all the parts needed to make a super cool wheel chair and it dont cost $15 grand, not even close- profit margins must be insane.
