I used a kyosho lazer zx-5 body for it. I also have the ofna ext chassis, so its a good fit. You just need to do some liberal cutting and extend the side walls down about 1 inch (in order to fully cover the chassis). I just used two pieces of scrap from the shell to make the side extensions.

There's two sides to every schwartz, he got the up side and I got the down side.

This is my cr.5 buggy that I did earlier this year for fun. It runs better than any 1/10th buggy I've ever bought. With mike's ext chassis, it can be close to full 1/10th scale.

holy crap that is sweet...this is next!!!

^ Academy sbv1 wheels with academy grand prix tires.

Any standard 1/10 buggy tire (fr/rr) will fit on the wheels. I've also got a set of these wheels with proline dirt hawgs mounted for street bashing.

Hoov that body turned out really nice indeed!!!! I must be riding your coat tails or something b/c I just bought a crt .5 roller the other night after reading this thread. I was serious above when I stated this is next.lol
To make matters worse I will prob go with your suggestion and go with the losi 8ight BL....I need reverse. We will have twin-zee crt .5 and 8ight. I swear Im not stalking you .

I will post pick as soon as I get my body painted up. I have not gotten it yet tho. Soon very soon. I have been looking at these rigs for a while now and cant wait to run one. Man it HAS to be stronger than running my FT T4.

Can the drive train handle 3s on these little guys. I have a 2s to but I would hate to see the 3s just sit there.

I broke my T4 for the last time a couple weeks ago.....Its going on the bay

Im planning to run 4s soon...I run 3s now.

all you need now is the e-revo and a tc4, then we'll be dating.

You know I have been looking for the right TC4 on the bay for quite a while....I even have it on my alerts!! But I am way picky when buying used stuff on the bay. I really only buy NIB stuff or un-ran. 100 mph is soooo tempting with these rigs.

I had been looking for a crt for almost as long as the tc4, but the morning after I read this thread (Im really new to the site I always thought RC monster was just a store) a friend of mine on another site hit me up with his brand new un-ran CRT .5 project. I swooped.

I havent gotten the Monster Truck bug yet....thank God. My pockets are getting shallow.

I do have like 3 really custom Losi Micro BL rigs!!!! And i love them!!
