Brushless, Lipo Cr-01 build

Not much of an update to this old thread...

Picked up some used proline 8 shooter beadlocks and new proline m3 hammers off the rccrawler forum. Not bad, got it all for 45 shipped...

I do like the proline beadlocks, I have a set on my other 2.2 rig. And the m3 hammers are soft and sticky. Plus my friend runs the hammers on his axial rig and they perform very well. Since the cr-01 is not the lowest cg crawler I did add some weight to the wheels in an attempt to keep it shiny side up. 3oz on each rear wheel and 6.5oz on each front. And the prolines came with memory foams, so that should help too.

I also have a 17.5t motor that I may put in, not sure if it will crawl any better than the 13.5t does, but worth a try. That should put the speed down to around 5mph with a 16t pinion, which is the smallest I can run on the truck.
