Ok so it is between the XXX-T CR and the T4 team kit. Which do all of you prefer?

If it was me, and standing on the outside with no iron in this fire, I would go with the losi.

Ditto. Personally though, I would get a buggy. People say there harder to drive, but thats only cause there more precise, which I think makes it easier to drive. Just me though...

The AE and Losi both use standard screws, right?

Yeah, found out the V1 SB pro has notoriously weak diffs. Back to the drawing board.... I'm thinking the tamiya durga now. Opinions??

Just make sure you local track has a class. 4wd buggy isn't very popular. Have you looked into the Losi XXX4?

Also take a look at the Hot Bodies D4... uses metric screws and from what I have read about it, it is one of the strongest 4wd buggies around and has extremely good handling.

My track does run a class judging by this picture on their race page:

jnev- I'm really not looking to spend that much now- if I get seriously into it I will spend more on a better kit.

yes the losi and AE both use standard hardware.... go out to the track on a race day and see what everyone runs and what they the shop keeps parts for and then make yoru choice, cant go wrong with a D4, b44 or lazer sp, and if youd like a D4 one of our local guys has a almost new one forsale with all the upgrades and its in your price range i bet.
