2 packs finished!



The shrink needs a bit more heat, but I leave it like that so when the packs heat up evenly the shrink pulls tight. Plus I am not really fond of heating the packs with the heat gun...

Ok, packs are done, heres a pic of the 4...



Note red cup with brow "mystery" liquid. That is a rather potent crown and coke. Weather sucks right now and the pimp is feeling down, so a little liquor should help...

And for my next trick, I will turn the 8 2s packs shown below into 4 4s packs...

Glad they got there safe. Looking at your work in this thread I am so happy to have you working on those babies.

Isn't that wire on those PQ-5000XQ packs ridiculous!

Very curious to see what is inside those hard case packs...

No prob ED. The wires are a bit much...

I ordered some deans 12gauge wire for you, should have that early in the week.

They are cells made in China. Linc just rewired a hard case PQ pack just like the red ones pictured above. Enerland cells, just made in China.

Yep, I just opened up one of the HC lipos and it has made in china stamped on the cells. I will have a look at the soft 5000 packs and see if they are the same cells, I am sure that they are.
